Online Colour Analysis Order Form
How to Take Your Photos for Online Colour Analysis
To get the most accurate colour analysis, your photos need to show your natural colouring as clearly as possible. Don’t worry, they do not need to be professional photos. A good phone photo is absolutely fine.
1. Use natural daylight
Take your photos during the day, facing a window or standing near natural light.
Avoid direct sunlight, as it can create strong shadows or make your skin look warmer than it really is.
Please avoid taking photos under artificial lighting, bathroom lights, ring lights or warm lamps, as these can change how your skin tone appears.
2. No makeup or fake tan
I need to be able to assess your natural undertone without any makeup. Fake tan can obscure the natural undertone creating a fake warmth.
3. Wear a plain neutral top
A white, cream, grey or neutral top works best.
Try to avoid wearing bright colours near your face for the main photos, as they can reflect onto your skin and affect the analysis.
4. Show your face clearly
Please take your photo facing the camera, with your hair pulled back from your face if possible.
Make sure your face, neck and hairline are visible.
If you colour your hair or it is grey, please also let me know your natural hair colour in the order form below.
5. No filters or editing
Please don’t use filters, beauty mode, portrait mode, colour correction or editing apps.
The more natural the photo, the more accurate your analysis will be.
6. Send multiple photos
The more the better! This way I have more than one photo for comparison.
Online colour analysis relies heavily on clear, natural photographs, so the better the photos, the more accurate and helpful your result will be. See examples below.
A quick note
Please tell me a little bit about yourself in the 'add details' space on the order form. if you colour your hair or if its grey, tell me what colour your hair is naturally, even better if you have a photo to send! The more information I have, the better the result. Tell me which colours you like to wear and that you look brighter and fresher in and tell me which colours you think make you look washed out and tired
If I need anything clearer, I’ll let you know.
